Brothers, I’m a little late on this month’s message. There is so much going on. I’d like to thank you my Brother Knights for continued support. With a new year comes a lot of events. I am proud to welcome the 2 new brothers who took their 1st degrees on January 14th. It would be great if we could have 1 or 2 shining armor awards given this year. Keep recruiting.
If you are looking for a way to get involved we will be having numerous activities this spring that would require nothing more than a couple hours of your time. Our Candy sales will be happening in March. Help selling after the Mass that you attend would be greatly appreciated, and let’s face it, it takes 20 minutes to get out of the parking lot anyway, so stay warm and sell some candy. Information will be coming out about our ARC campaign soon. Again, 2 hours of your time 1 day during that week, would be of significant help.
The Diocese of Harrisburg is having their Annual Men’s conference on March 21st at Bishop Mcdevitt High school. I urge all of you to consider attending this event. Spending 8 hours with 600+ other men, learning more about our faith, spending time with the Lord in adoration, and celebrating the Holy Mass, is time well spent. Christianity is under attack. Our Catholic Faith is under attack. As Knights we should take the time to learn from and support one another as often as we can. There is a link to the registration page under the links tab on this site. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
Lastly, with a New Year, comes the opportunity to evaluate where your are headed. Financially, this means contacting our Benefits Advisor Dennis Tobash and seeing if there is something the Knights can do to help you on that Journey.
Vivat Jesus
